Memorial to Ebenezer Laing, 1931 - 2015.

Little did i know i was returning to Ghana to hear about your death. My heart is heavy, my soul is weary. I have missed my friend, my daddy and mentor. Our journey started way back in 2002 when my grandfather your classmate in Adisadel College introduced you to me. You advised me on what was right and wrong. You mentored me on what courses i should pursue as a young man, you consistently monitored my grades and made sure i was always on top of my game. I remember you were the one that called me a doctor first. I pursued that line of education because of you. It was just unfortunate you could not wait to see me finished, which would be in November anyway. With whom am i going to enjoy that achievement with, how are we going to celebrate afterwards. I remember all the little parties you held for me and all my friends anytime i pass my courses. You pushed me until i came tops of my class.

Ah prof my heart is heavy and weary. I will always miss you. I pray you soul rest in peace and will be in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ. I love you.
